Personal training programme

Personal Training Programmes

Our flagship offering: one-to-one coaching with fully structured programming, built around your current fitness level, lifestyle and reasonable goals. Sessions are available online (video call with written programme) or in-person in Cambridge.

You'll work with the same coach throughout, who will track your progress, adjust your programme as you adapt, and help you understand the reasoning behind each decision. This isn't cookie-cutter programming — it's designed specifically for you.

Who This Is For
  • People who want individualised guidance rather than generic plans
  • Those who value understanding the why behind their training
  • Anyone who has tried self-directing their training and found it difficult to progress
Who This May Not Suit
  • Those expecting extreme rapid body composition changes
  • Anyone with complex medical conditions requiring specialist clinical input
Realistic Expectations

Meaningful fitness adaptations take weeks to months of consistent effort. Individual results vary based on starting point, adherence, recovery quality and lifestyle factors. We will never promise specific outcomes.

Beginner Fitness Coaching

Specifically designed for people who are new to structured exercise. This programme prioritises movement education over intensity — learning how to squat, hinge, push and pull correctly before adding meaningful load.

The beginner phase is arguably the most important in a training career. Building correct habits, understanding your body, and developing confidence in the gym are the foundations on which everything else is built. Rushing this phase is one of the most common mistakes people make.

Who This Is For
  • Complete beginners with no structured training history
  • People who feel intimidated by gyms or don't know where to start
  • Those who've tried following YouTube programmes without clear structure
Realistic Expectations

In the first 4–8 weeks, progress is primarily neurological — you'll feel stronger before visible changes occur. This is normal and a sign the programme is working. Patience during this phase builds the foundation for long-term progress.

Strength and mobility training

Strength & Mobility Training Guidance

Strength and mobility are often treated as separate goals, but in practice they're deeply connected. This service addresses both simultaneously — building functional strength through compound movements while maintaining and improving the range of motion needed to perform them well and stay pain-free.

Marcus Webb leads this programme, with particular focus on clients who have movement restrictions, postural considerations, or are managing previous injuries (noting that we always recommend consulting a medical professional regarding any diagnosed conditions before starting exercise).

Who This Is For
  • People who feel stiff or restricted in daily movement
  • Those returning to training after a period of inactivity
  • Individuals who want to build strength without sacrificing movement quality
Realistic Expectations

Mobility improvements require consistent, patient work over weeks and months. Strength gains are progressive and gradual. We do not provide physiotherapy or medical rehabilitation — please ensure you have appropriate clinical clearance if managing an injury.

Lifestyle Fitness Planning

For many people, the barrier to consistent exercise isn't knowledge or motivation — it's the practical reality of fitting training around work, family, and other demands. This service is built around your actual schedule, not an idealised version of it.

Working together, we'll create a sustainable training structure that accounts for your real time availability, energy patterns, and life commitments. This includes guidance on training frequency, session length, exercise selection and basic nutritional habits to support your activity level.

Who This Is For
  • Busy professionals who struggle to maintain consistent exercise
  • Parents or carers with unpredictable or limited time
  • People who've tried intense programmes and found them unsustainable
Realistic Expectations

Sustainable fitness planning prioritises longevity over intensity. The goal is a plan you can follow consistently over months and years — not one that produces rapid short-term results followed by burnout and abandonment.

Common Questions

No. Our beginner programme is designed specifically for people with little or no training experience. You don't need a base level of fitness to begin — that's what we help you build.

In-person sessions take place in Cambridge and allow for real-time technique coaching and hands-on cueing. Online coaching involves video consultations, written programmes and video form reviews submitted by you between sessions. Both formats offer the same level of programming quality and coach attention.

We are not medical professionals and cannot advise on clinical health conditions. If you have a diagnosed condition, we strongly recommend consulting your GP or a relevant medical professional before beginning any exercise programme. We can work alongside medical guidance once you have clearance to exercise.

This varies considerably based on your starting point, training frequency, recovery quality, nutrition and many individual factors. We don't promise specific timelines or outcomes. What we can say is that consistent, progressive training over weeks and months produces meaningful adaptation — this is well-established in exercise science.
